City of Watseka Purchasing Committee met April 22.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

PRESENT: Mayor Allhands, Aldermen Barragree, Marcier, Alderwoman Rohlfs 

ABSENT: Alderman Cahoe 

Mayor Allhands opened the meeting at 6:00. The committee reviewed 58 purchase orders and signed them all. 

Mayor Allhands stated the committee discussed the possible purchase of a new boom truck, currently they are waiting on used prices as well as state bids. 

The new council will be looking into the police contract of proof of reimbursement of tuition fees for a passing grade. 

Questions were raised about getting a refund from Robinson Engineering due to the issues at Martin Ave. Robinson Engineering will be picking up the expense of moving the drainage structures to make it the original 32’ road. 

Alderwoman Rohlfs makes a motion to adjourn at 6:19 pm and Alderman Marcier seconded. Roll call carried 4-0.
