I had the honor of welcoming Miss Kankakee’s Teen, Alexis McCullough, to Springfield as my page for a day. Alexis is an outstanding young woman who is an excellent role model for our community. Her work in creating the Gold Star Memorial in Bourbonnais is worthy of considerable recognition. Thank you for joining me in Springfield, Alexis!
