Bradley Elementary School District 61 Board of Education met June 12.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

The Regular Meeting of the Board of Education of Bradley Elementary School District No. 61 was held on June 12, 2025, beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Bradley Administration Center - 111 N. Crosswell Ave, Bradley, IL 60915.

On roll call the following members were present: Board Members Golwitzer, Barrie, Hasemeyer, McCullough, Trudeau, Whalen, and Wilder. In attendance were Superintendent Hammond and Director of Finance, Nicole McCarty.

Pledge of Allegiance was led by President Golwitzer.

Public Comments: None.

A Motion was made by Wilder and seconded by Trudeau to approve all items on the Consent Agenda: 1) Regular Board Meeting Minutes of May 13, 2025; 2) Closed Session Minutes; 3) Payroll and Accounts Payable; 4) Financial Report; 5) Committee Minutes; 6) Approve Continued Designation of Hazardous Routes; 7) Approve District Depositories; 8) Approve Nicole McCarty as the Bradley School District 61 Treasurer for 2025-26 and 2026-27; 9) Designate Nicole McCarty, CSBO, to Prepare the BSD61 FY26 Budget.

Ayes: Barrie, Golwitzer, Hasemeyer, McCullough, Trudeau, Whalen and Wilder.

Nays: None

A Motion was made by Trudeau and seconded by McCullough to approve the FY25 Amended Budget.

A Motion was made by Wilder and seconded by Hasemeyer to approve Policies on 30 day Review.

Ayes: Barrie, Golwitzer, Hasemeyer, McCullough, Trudeau, Whalen and Wilder.

A Motion was made by Golwitzer and seconded by Trudeau to approve the 2025-2026 Calendar.

A Motion was made by Barrie and seconded by Wilder to approve Property, Casualty, and Liability Insurance Renewal.

Motion carried.

A Motion was made by McCullough and seconded by Hasemeyer to approve Permission to Bid FY26 Central Lighting Project.

Ayes: Barrie, Golwitzer, Hasemeyer, McCullough, Trudeau, and Wilder.

A Motion to go into Executive Session at 7:36 p.m. was made by McCullough and seconded by Trudeau to discuss the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, dismissal or complaints [5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1)]; student disciplinary cases [5 ILCS 120/2(c)(21)]; and discussion of minutes of meetings lawfully closed under this Act [5 ILCS 120/2(c)(21)].
