The meeting was called to order by Mayor Annette LaMore, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. Prayer given by Reverend Kevin Warner.
Roll call was made by the Village Clerk.
Motion by Boudreau, seconded by Zimbelman, to wave the reading of the minutes and approve the regular Board meeting minutes of June 2, 2025, as presented by the clerk. Motion approved : 6-0

• Consideration Re: A motion to appoint Tiffany Thompson, as the Village Attorney. Motion was made by Barry and seconded by Vaughn. Motion was denied 2 to 4 Boudreau, Crockett, Gesky and Zimbelman voted No.
• Police Chief talked about a session on Scooters for Safety

• Ordinance 25-07 An Ordinance Granting Variances From Sections 9-13-14 and 9-13- 15 of the Manteno Municipal Code to Permit Two signs to be Erected on the Principal Building Located at 333 Spruce Street, Manteno, Illinois, each having areas greater than Maximum heights greater than Fifteen (15’) Above Ground Level.

• Ordinance 25-06 An Ordinance Amending Title 3, Business Regulations, Chapter 9, Liquor, Section 3-9-13, Hours, of the Village of Manteno Municipal Code. Upon Discussion this will not be Voted on.

Motion by Barry and seconded by Vaughn for the Consent Agenda. Motion passed 6 to 0 . Motion to approve was made by Gesky and seconded by Crockett to approve the Consent Agenda minus Ordinance 25-07 Voted on separately and they didn’t Vote on Tiffany Thompson as Village Attorney and Ordinance 25-06 was not Voted on. Ordinance 25-07 was Voted on Separately. Motion by Boudreau and second by Zimbelman. Motion was passed 5 to 1 Vaughn Voting no.
Motion to adjourn . Motion was made by Crockett and seconded by Zimbelman Meeting adjourned at 7:30.
