Heather M. Hammond, aged 58, of Bourbonnais, passed away at her home on Saturday, July 26, 2025. Born on April 27, 1967, in Hinsdale, she was the daughter of Leonard and Rose Marie Kribs Riordan. Heather was wed to David Hammond on May 18, 2002. She served as the business manager for Dave's Tree Service. Known for her love of cooking, getting her hair done, and gambling, Heather's greatest joy came from spending time with her family. A parishioner of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Kankakee, Heather will be deeply missed.

Survived by her husband, David Hammond of Bourbonnais; sons Mitchell Hahn & Priscilla Pijus of Kankakee and Matthew Hammond & Lanaea Malak of Kankakee; and brother Adam & Ann Riordan of Villa Park. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation rites will be honored, and a memorial visitation will be held at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais on Friday, August 1, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Those who wish to commemorate Heather can make donations to the Susan G.
