Mary Jane Gilbert, 95, of Kankakee, died on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Citadel of Bourbonnais. Born on December 16, 1929, in Chicago, to Peppino and Mary (Vickery) DeRensis. Mary Jane was a retired employee of School District 111 and a member of Central Christian Church.

Survived by daughters Barbara & Michael Allison of Bourbonnais, Nora & Norman OBlennis of Danville; ten grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, husbands, infant daughter Sara, and son Ira Bullock Jr.

Visitation on Friday, August 22, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais. Interment to follow at Mound Grove Gardens in Kankakee.
