Alan L. "Butch" LaRoche | Clancy Gernon Funeral Homes - Bourbonnais

Kankakee - Alan L. "Butch" LaRoche, aged 81, passed away on his birthday, August 28, 2025, at his home. Born in Kankakee on August 28, 1944, to LaVerne and Ula LaRoche, Alan married Jackie Blanchette on May 24, 1969, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Kankakee.

Employed at the Ford Stamping Plant in Chicago Heights for 43 years, Alan was dedicated to his work and community. He also operated the Kankakee Liquor Store for 25 years. Alan's love for fishing, service in the United States Army, and membership in the Kankakee V.F.W. showcased his commitment to various aspects of his life.

Survived by his wife Jackie and a large family, including children, grandchildren, a great-grandchild, siblings, and extended relatives, Alan will be dearly missed. He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and other family members.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home in Kankakee, with a funeral service on Saturday, September 6, 2025. Reverend Matt Pratcher will officiate the service, followed by entombment at All Saints Mausoleum in Bourbonnais.
