U.S. Representative Robin Kelly posted a series of statements on social media addressing issues related to military support, political violence, and renewable energy policy.

On September 10, 2025, Kelly called for bipartisan action in Congress, stating, "We must pass a bipartisan bill that supports all service members and their families.  I will not stand for discriminatory riders that hurt those who protect us. This is a matter of collective responsibility. Our heroes deserve better."

Later the same day, she commented on recent incidents of gun violence: "Political violence is never the answer and will never be accepted. I’m thinking of Charlie Kirk, his family, all those who witnessed this traumatic shooting at Utah Valley University, and the survivors of a school shooting in Colorado today. Gun violence is an epidemic that".

In another post on September 11, 2025, Kelly criticized House Republicans for their approach to energy policy: "House Republicans cut renewable energy programs by 47%. Instead of improving the lives of families across America, Republicans are lining the pockets of Big Polluters, increasing energy costs for Americans, and jeopardizing energy independence."

Robin Kelly has served as a U.S. Representative since 2013 and has consistently won re-election by significant margins in her district. In previous general elections, she defeated Thomas Lynch in 2022 with 67.1% of the vote; Theresa Raborn in 2020 with 78.8%; David Merkle in 2018 with 81.1%; John Morrow in 2016 with 79.8%; and Eric Wallace in 2014 with 78.5%.
