U.S. Representative Robin Kelly has used her social media platform to address several issues, including the impending government shutdown, healthcare policy, and misinformation about medication safety.

On September 24, 2025, Kelly posted about the potential for a government shutdown and criticized Republican leadership. She wrote, "In SIX DAYS, the government shuts down, and Republicans are nowhere to be seen. President Trump chickened out and cancelled a meeting with Democrat leaders. Affordable healthcare, food assistance, and vital services are on the line. I am joining @HouseDemocrats to protect" (September 24, 2025).

Later that evening, Kelly shared news of an award she received for her work in cancer prevention. She stated on September 24, 2025: "Honored to receive the Cancer Champion Award for my work expanding cancer prevention and early detection. I do this in memory of lives lost, warriors currently fighting against cancer, and all impacted by this disease."

Early on September 25, 2025, Kelly addressed statements made by former President Trump regarding acetaminophen. She wrote: "President Trump is so reckless, he’s spreading false claims about acetaminophen—a drug he can’t even pronounce. Pregnant women deserve facts & solutions to maternal health crises, not junk science from Trump, RFK Jr., and Dr. Oz. Read my full statement:https://t.co/HVQlNU4StP https://t.co/Uy3gsJPDH6"

Robin Kelly has served as a U.S. Representative since winning a special election in 2013 and has consistently secured re-election in subsequent years with significant margins over her opponents.
