Discussion Items:

• Eagles Landing Pond Discussion- Walking path that runs east and West, by the pond. Manteno Village does not own that property. The property is in limo and there is no homeowners association put in place. The homeowners association was dissolved in 2014. The Village will send out a letter to all the homeowners in that area, that there is erosion happening. Letter will also be sent to the pipeline company notifying of the problem as well, and see what their take is on it. Manteno Village does not own what needs to be fixed. The path has to be fixed or it's going to just disappear. The expense could fall on the homeowners because there’s no homeowners association they could sign over and donate the pond to the village. Letters will be written up and sent out notifying of options and the problems that exist,

• Poplar & Dolly Intersection- Bruce Hill explained shifting the two stop signs. Dolly will be move 40 feet to the east and change the strips a bit on the street to create a clear stop to the drivers. To be moved out of the roadway and more into the Parkway. On Poplar the stop sign will also be shifted A little more to the north so everything can be more clarified on where to stop. It is in the works of getting done

• Soccer Shed/ Dugouts /appliance request- Soccer is in need of space and storage they are currently sharing storage with baseball. 22x22 shed in the southwest corner at Heritage Park, Trustee Crockett suggest to build shed more maintenance free. Waiting on bids for the dugouts. Soccer would like a small freezer for popsicles and other things for the kids.

• Equipment replacement- Hanley presented a quote from Taylor Dodge for a 2025 Ford Ranger, cost would be 37,528. The current vehicle needs to be replaced no longer has a reverse. Hanley likes to support shopping local, can get a quote from Chevy and dodge as well.

• Leahy Storm project/ other storm main issues- To take place this fall around October restoration in spring. Make aware to the surrounding homeowners of the project. 848 White tail bend and 481 Jeffrey Storm main issues. Have 2 Willow trees that have to be removed Homeowner agreed to go in half of the cost and looking for approval of 2,500 to cost to the village. Bruce Hill talking about the Leahy project in the midst of design right now looking for approval at the October 6th board meeting. Let the homeowners know what we’re up against. Start in the fall and begin restoration in the spring.

• Pavilion location at the square- The turf is going bad and two of the trees have to come down, no matter what something has to be done with the area. Still divided on location and solution of bathrooms. Get the kit to move forward and then we can still continue to talk out the location and remove the trees.

• Park path asphalt sealing- Old paths inside Heritage will be done first the worst of the three, quote of cost 24,857.00. South side of the baseball field path from Old path to Stonegate Pond the quote is 7,501.00. Stonegate Pond path from South Creek Drive to Dairy Queen Quote is 14,767. Do the heritage one first, it’s the worst of the 3 and see how it Looks and holds up. Would like to proceed and get this done after soccer. Trustee Gesky asked if we did all three at once would it be cheaper? Hanley will look into that and put on the agenda for next week.

Motion by Trustee Gesky, seconded by Trustee Zimbelman, to adjourn meeting at 7:57 a.m. Voice vote: all ayes, no nays.
