U.S. Representative Robin Kelly used her social media platform to promote an upcoming privacy event, call for transparency regarding the Epstein Files, and highlight community unity in Chicago.

On October 5, 2025, Kelly posted an invitation to her annual Privacy Fair: "Protect your privacy! Join my office for my annual Privacy Fair on Oct. 18 at the South Side YMCA.We’ll have free resources to prevent identity theft + document shredding.

RSVP:" The event is scheduled for October 18 at the South Side YMCA in Chicago and will offer free resources aimed at preventing identity theft as well as document shredding services.

Later that day, Kelly addressed issues of public transparency and accountability by stating: "No one is above the law. The Epstein Files should not be hidden from the public. The victims and the American people deserve transparency, justice, and accountability.

Release the Files." This comment reflects ongoing calls among lawmakers and advocates for disclosure of information related to Jeffrey Epstein’s criminal activities.

In a subsequent post on October 6, Kelly acknowledged fellow Representatives Delia Ramirez, Chuy Garcia, and Jonathan Jackson for their collaboration: "Thank you to @RepDeliaRamirez, @RepChuyGarcia & @Rep_Jackson for joining me in standing up for our communities. Together, we’re showing the strength of Black and Brown unity—demanding accountability & rejecting Trump’s fear-driven politics in Chicago."

Robin Kelly has consistently secured re-election in Illinois’ second congressional district since first winning office in a special election in 2013. She won her most recent race against Thomas Lynch in 2022 with more than two-thirds of the vote. In previous elections from 2014 through 2020, she maintained similar margins over her opponents.
