The Illinois Tax Amnesty Program has begun, giving residents an opportunity to pay certain overdue taxes without facing penalties or interest. The program is available until November 17, 2025, and applies to tax periods after June 30, 2018, and before July 1, 2024.

According to the announcement, "The Illinois Tax Amnesty Program is officially open! Now through November 17th, 2025, Illinois residents can pay eligible back taxes without penalties or interest.
