Departmental Reports:
Clerk Dillman: no report
Engineer Report: will need to choose colors for swings at Hilgert Park. Some discussion held on possibly delaying the start to the Streetscape project until Spring, so traffic disruption is minimized in the winter weather.
Ordinance & Insurance, Wiedl: no report
Streets & Alleys, Whorrall: School is interested in some of the playground equipment. Pres. Detloff asked if it would be ok to offer the balance to Momence Park District, it was ok’d. Asked status of the old furniture moving from the building. Fest items will be stored in the attic of the Community Center.
Finance, Morgan: Discussed a banking fraud class that can be taken, also discussed a check verification service, and will be brought up for a vote next meeting
Community Outreach, Brower: Fall Fest profited $2,622.00, thanked volunteers, and sponsors. Methodist Church will host Halloween, formally held at the Comm. Center
Building & Grounds, Quinn: no report
Law Enforcement, Martz: no report
Chief Frey: discussed body cameras

Also mentioned, Boo Bingo 10/10/25, Surf Internet has begun installing to homes, Hilgert Park project advancing well, RT 1 railroad crossing will be closed for repair for appx a week, Halloween hours will be 4-7PM, a copy of an application for a solar field just outside of city limits was received, A thank you from the Historical Society, and Youth Baseball was received for sponsorships. Apple TV was recently in town filming. Pres. Detloff would like to donate a tree in memory of Sharon Dillman at Hilgert Park, in the Spring. Polling of Board agreed.
