Police and Public Safety

● Cathy Dundas made a motion to hire a part time police officer. Jeff Hall seconded the motion. Cathy discussed intervening with Luis Tapia, and would like to hire him.

Mayor

● Tim Goodrich made a motion to approve Resolution-04 for improvement under the Illinois Highway Code. Cathy Dundas seconded the motion.

Randy discussed the resolution.

o Motion Passes 5-0

● Paul Hess made a motion to approve Pool Manager Katie Graham to continue working for Minimum wage, until the new pool liner is installed.

Cathy Dundas seconded the motion. Jeff Hall inquired about the outside temperature and installing the liner with lower temperatures. RenoSys Company is still on schedule to come in October.

▪ Motion passes 5-0

● Jeff Hall made a motion to approve Tim Kent to be paid $25.00 per water meter to be installed. Sue Schafroth seconded the motion. Jeff discussed 3 different bids he received. Beacons were at $54,000.00, Tim Kent would do all 300 meters for $25.00 a meter, at $7,500.00, Ben Potts would do the meters at $40.38, and then also put them in the computer. Trustees discussed the different bids, and that would vote on Tim first before any further discussion.

● Sue Schafroth made a motion not to exceed $800.00 for signs to be purchased through the county for 3rd street Ordinance-02. Jeff Hall seconded the motion.
