Village of Grant Park Committee of Whole met Dec. 27.

All members present
Public comments: Valgene Raloff spoke that the Board should pass the Dispensary Special Use Permit
Clerk Dillman: read 2024 meeting dates
Insurance & Ordinance, Wiedl: no report
Finance, Morgan: reviewed the FY budget/revenue list to date
Community Outreach, Detloff: no report
Building & Grounds, Bruni: no report
Police, Whorrall: no report
Streets & Alleys, Passini: getting acquainted with maintenance personnel
Pres. Hawkins: Opened discussion concerning the proposed Dispensary. Read state proposed guidelines to locations for such, and proposed guidelines by the Zoning Board exceeded these guidelines. Mr. Morgan suggested keeping the line item of cultivating businesses, which this is not, be restricted to the 1000’ due to potential smell, but thinks the location proposed would be fine, Mr. Detloff spoke that this business revenue will be too great for the Village to pass on. Pres. Hawkins polled the Board, and all were in favor to grant the permit next meeting.
