The Kankakee City Fire Department's Public Safety Committee held a meeting Tuesday to review overtime and pay bills.
The committee was also scheduled to review the latest fire department statistics from the month of December.
The Kankakee City Fire Department is based at 385 E. Oak St. The company has been serving Kankakee since its founding in 1887, following a major fire that destroyed 22 city buildings.
