Bradley trustees approve annual tax to cover sewage refunding bond

Villageofbradley

Trustees in Bradley recently voted to put more than $50,000 of the village's funds toward a $4.48 million general obligation sewage refunding bond while also calling for a direct annual tax to put another $399,099 toward the bond's principal and interest.

Ordinance No. O-12-15-1 passed Dec. 14 and will allow the village to pay $50,901 out of its funds toward partially abating the interest and principal on the Series A bond.

Of the village’s six trustees, all but one voted in favor of the payment. The sixth trustee, Eric Cyr, was absent.

The ordinance was filed with the village clerk on Dec. 15.

In addition to Cyr, the village trustees include Jerry Balthazor, Melissa Carrico,  Lori Gadbois, Robert Redmond and Michael Watson.
