The Kankakee County Board will consider boundary adjustments to voting precincts at its meeting Tuesday that will consolidate six precincts into three.
Under the proposed changes, Momence Precinct No. 1 and Momence Precinct No. 3 would become Precinct No. 1, Kankakee Precinct No. 9 and Kankakee Precinct No. 3 would become Kankakee Precinct and Pembroke Precinct No. 1 and Precinct No. 2 would become Precinct No. 1.
The Momence precinct would be based at the Earl D. Schoeffner Memorial Building at 105 E. Second St. in Momence starting with this year's general primary election.
The Kankakee precinct would be based at Westbrook Church of the Nazarene, 900 W. Jeffery St. in Kankakee.
The Pembroke precinct would be based at the Pembroke Township Library, located at 1379 E. Central St. in Pembroke Township.
The resolutions will be presented by the county's Community Services Committee.
The board will also vote on the reappointments of Peggy Skoff, Eloise Bertrand and John Nelson to the Bloom's Grove Cemetery Association and James LaMotte to the Emergency Telephone System Board.
The meeting is scheduled for 9 a.m. in the 4th floor boardroom of the Kankakee County Administration Building.
