The Kankakee County Executive Committee met Thursday at the Kankakee County Administration Building to hear a quarterly schools report from the Regional Superintendent of Schools of Iroquois and Kankakee Counties.
The committee discussed the appointments of Rende Langlois to the Kankakee Valley Airport Authority, Michael Bourgeois to the Kankakee County Farmland Assessment Review Committee, Douglas Jones to the Kankakee County Housing Authority and Sharlene Parr to the Kankakee River Valley Forest Preserve District Board.
The committee also announced openings on the Bourbonnais Fire Protection District Board, the Cabery Area Fire Protection District Board, the Grant Park Fire Protection District Board, the Kankakee Township Fire Protection District Board, the Limestone Fire Protection District Board, the Manteno Community Fire Protection District Board, the Greater Momence Fire Protection District Board, the Otto Township Fire Protection District Board, the Pilot Township Fire Protection District Board and the St. Anne Fire Protection District Board.
The meeting took place at 9 a.m.
