The Manteno Committee of the Whole met Monday, April 4, at the Leo T. Hassett Community Center to examine an early version of the 2016-17 village budget.
The committee was also expected to consider extending the hours for Class D liquor licenses.
The Manteno board of trustees was expected to vote on a resolution later in the evening that would place the preliminary budget on file.
