Momence Mayor Mick Porter announced Monday that the city has officially switched its sewer and water bill pay system over to GovPay.
Porter said residents will be able to use the new system to pay their water and sewer bills online with a credit or debit card. Residents can access the new system by going to the city's home page and clicking on the red button on the right side of the screen, labeled "Pay Your Water Bill Online."
Porter said the new service is a response to numerous requests from residents for an online payment system.
The city will still accept credit and debit card payments in person at Momence City Hall, as well.
