Kankakee County is poised to experience a wealth of opportunities for business growth with the imminent arrival of GadellNet, an outsourced IT firm headquartered in St. Louis and actively expanding to stimulate local job creation.
Lured by location, low cost of living and development potential, the large firm plans to offer its signature services, including desk support, network engineering, consulting, application development and hosted cloud service, under the direction of Momence native Chris Miller, who brings a decade of experience in technology consulting.
“GadellNet has a lot to offer in IT solutions, managed services, software development and cloud services,” Miller said. “I believe that will resonate with the small- to medium-size businesses throughout the Chicago Southland and Northwestern Indiana region. We see strong growth potential here.”
GadellNet’s pivotal mission, “to amplify the human will through technology,” means the company, an Inc. 500 firm, will work with professionals across the construction, architecture, education, financial, nonprofit, law, marketing and health sectors.
Additionally, it will deliver its trademark philanthropic activity at the local level as it becomes acquainted with its newest outpost. The company traditionally supports the arts, education and culture wherever it opens a new branch.
“Strategically, we plan to grow and create jobs through our commitment to strong community involvement,” Miller said. “This will be a win for both the region and GadellNet.”
