Bradley Bourbonnais Little League is encouraging community members to donate to the Jamie Leech GoFundMe page.
Leech, an active member of the Bourbonnais community, was the mother of 10-year-old Gianni, who plays in the league. She was killed on July 28 in a car accident on Interstate 80.
Funds collected through the GoFundMe site will be given to the family to help with expenses.
In addition to her son, Leech, 37, is survived by her husband of 13 years, Pasquale J. “PJ” Leech, Jr.; her mother Susan Boer of Bourbonnais; one brother Jason Boer of Steger; her mother-in-law and father-in-law Marie and Pat Leech of Steger; and one niece, Ashlynn Boer of Steger.
