The Bourbonnais Bears Youth Football Superlight team kicks off its 2016 season with an away game against Orland Park at noon on Sunday, Aug. 14.
Its first home game will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 20 against Frankfort Blue.
The team closes out August with a game at Mokena at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27.
September sees the Bears facing Homer Maroon at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, at home; followed by an away game against Frankfort Square Black at 10 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 11.
The Bears will celebrate homecoming at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17 against New Lenox.
The team will have a bye week the last weekend in September, followed by a game at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1 against Tinley Park at home. This game will also be 8th Grade Night.
It's final regular-season game of the season will be 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 8 at Chanooka.
Playoffs will be held on Saturday, Oct. 15.
