Sebastian Swift, a linebacker at Olivet Nazarene University (ONU), has been named to the “NAIA Starting Lineup” in the College Football America 2016 Yearbook, according to ONUTigers.com.
Swift, a junior from El Cajon, California, was picked for the All-Mid-States Football Association Second Team defense last season. He led the Tigers with 139 total tackles -- 57 solo -- in 11 games to go, with 8.5 tackles for loss of yards, three interceptions and three pass breakups. His per-game tackle average of 12.6 ranked third in the MSFA and seventh in the NAIA.
The CFA Yearbook features more than 930 college-football teams from the United States and Canada.
The Tigers, who went 3-8 last season, open the 2016 campaign by taking on Midland University at 1 p.m. Aug. 27 in Fremont, Nebraska.
ONU's first home game this season is against the University of St. Francis at 6 p.m. Sept. 3.
