Village of Bourbonnais Board of Trustees met June 28.
Here is the minutes provided by the Board:
Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 4:00 p.m. by Village Clerk Brian Simeur.
1. Roll Call: Village Clerk Brian Simeur called the roll with the following Trustees present: Trustee Bruce Greenlee, Trustee Rick Fischer, Trustee Jeff Keast, Trustee Jack Littrell and Trustee Angie Serafini. Also in attendance were Village Treasurer Ron Riebe, Village Attorney Pat Dunn and Village Administrator Mike Van Mill. Village President Paul Schore and Trustee Randy King were absent.
A motion was made by Trustee Keast and seconded by Trustee Littrell to appoint Trustee Greenlee as temporary Village President. Motion passed on a voice vote 5-0.
2. Finance Committee
a. Consideration to Approve Accounts Payable: June 28, 2017
A motion was made by Trustee Fischer and seconded by Trustee Keast to approve the bill list as presented.

Trustee Keast - Aye
Trustee Fischer - Aye
Trustee Littrell - Aye
Trustee King - Absent
Trustee Serafini - Aye
Motion passed on a vote of 5-0-1.
b. Approve Capital Expenditures
Finance Director Mike Wolf reviewed a list of potential capital projects for the Village Of Bourbonnais.
Administrator Van Mill and Finance Director Wolf explained the logic behind how spending is being prioritized. After a discussion, a motion to approve a new accounting software system as part of the capital expenditures in place of the administration vehicle for the Police Department was made by Trustee Fischer and seconded by Trustee Keast. Motion passed on a voice vote of 5-0.

4. New Business
Assistant Administrator Laurie Wimberly said that the Illinois Municipal League registration is open and all attendees should notify Sue Pranskus with their registration information.
Ms. Wimberly also noted that the Village would like to purchase two tables for the Bear's Kick Off event to be held on July 26, 2017. A motion was made by Trustee Fischer and seconded by Trustee Keast to approve purchasing tables for the event.

A motion was made by Trustee Keast and seconded by Trustee Littrell to adjourn the special board meeting. Motion passed on a voice vote of 5-0 and the meeting adjourned at 4:43 p.m.
