Village of Bourbonnais Annexation, Building and Zoning Committee met March 14.

Here is the minutes provided by the Committee:

Trustee Fischer at the regular board meeting held on March 7, 2016 scheduled an annexation, building, and Zoning Committee meeting to take place on March 14, 2016 at 3:30 p.m.

1.Roll Call:

Trustee Fischer called the annexation, building, and zoning committee meeting to order. Present was Village President Schore, Trustee Amiano, , Trustee Fischer, Trustee Keast, Trustee Littrell, Treasure Ron Riebe, Village Administrator Van Mill, Village Attorney Dunn, Economic and Assistant Administrator Wimberly. Absents was Trustee Greenlee and Trustee King.

2. Approval of Minutes: December 17, 2015

A motion was made by Trustee Amiano and seconded by Trustee Littrell to approve the minutes as presented with a correction to fix the spelling of Mayor Schore's name in the Roll Call Section. Motion passed on a voice vote of 4-0

3. IM Steel:

Trustee Fischer gave information was provided about the IMSteel project with the hopes to get the project out of committee then on the public hearing and board meeting agenda.

Trustee Fischer: After the last meeting addition clarification was requested regarding the vacuum. The amendments were provided to the board, prior to the meeting, and on page 4 and between Attorney Carlson and Attorney Dunn got the language together. The Belson were to locate and install the modular for the industrial vacuum. Sparks Model 18XXL they have purchased and the big thing is to remove the smoke and partials for the torch cutting. And if something were to happen to the vacuum the same or better will be installed.

Trustee Fischer did a quick overview of the amendment based on the paper work provided.

•The operation of bailer and sheerer will be permitted outside

•The vacuum to be installed

•Date of starting to process with the bailer and sheerer they will have 6 months to stop operations at the other property in Bradley

•Impact fee of $15,000 a year for 15 years; Once the bailer and sheerer are operational

•The amendment will remain with the property

•The value to the village including property tax is $4,850 and sales tax of $12,000. Totaling $36,850 per year in the village.

Trustee Fischer asked Dunn and Carlson if his recap missed anything. Carlson mentioned there would not be an automobile shredder

Mayor Schore asked about the site plan. Only a preliminary plan has been done but the drainage will be addressed including a large detention pond. The site plan is not finished. Stated by Mr. Gingerich

Mayor asked it the trustees are ready for this to go to Public Hearing.

Roll call vote: Trustee Amiano - Aye Trustee King - Absent

Trustee Fischer - Aye Trustee Keast - Aye

Trustee Greenlee - Absent Trustee Littrell – Aye

A motion to go into executive session was made by Trustee Amiano and seconded by Trustee Littrell to adjourn the committee meeting. Motion passed on a voice vote of 4-0 and the meeting adjourned at 3:47 p.m.
