Kankakee Community College (KCC) wants drivers to have that "new car feel," even if it's just because their old car is cleaned on the inside and out.
KCC volunteers will get out the soap, water and vacuum for a car wash on Wednesday, Sept. 13, to raise funds for the KCC Student Scholarship Fund, according to a press release.
The cleaning will be done from 11 a.m., to 3 p.m. in front of the Workforce Development Center. Drivers can get their cars washed inside for $5, outside for $5 and both for $10. The work will take approximately 15 minutes, according to the press release.
The scholarship fund supports students in associate degree and certificate of completion programs at KCC.
