1. Snow/Salt Bids
The bids will be awarded to Heritage FS, Inc. who was the only bidder for both snow and salt.
2. Wireless Alarm Monitoring We are currently using a telephone line based alarm monitoring solution which needs to be improved to meet current code requirements. We are able to switch to a wireless-based solution that does not use phone lines and will shave 2-3 minutes or more from the fire department response time. The system from Protection Associates will notify the 911 dispatch center directly without going through a monitoring service. We anticipate the service will cost between $2640 and $3204 annually depending on our level of service. The committee agreed to move the agenda item to the Finance committee for discuss and for board action at the September meeting.
B. High School
1. Locker Room Restroom Partitions
The committee agreed to investigate costs to install partitions in the boys locker rooms (both inside gym and outside gym) between the restroom stalls and urinals. The maintenance department will bring installation costs to the next meeting.
C. Middle School
D. Elementary School
V. Additional Agenda Items
1. The District snow plow truck (2000) has rusted, is not as dependable and needs to be replaced. After pricing around at local dealerships (Dralle & Manteno Ford), Manteno Ford has offered the best price for a 2017 F250 at $21,184.00. This price includes our 2000 trade-in. The committee agreed to move forward to the Finance committee and for Board action.
