Graduates earn 1,497 degrees from Olivet Nazarene University

About 30.6 percent of the 1,497 degrees and certificates handed out by the Olivet Nazarene University in 2016-17 were to students in Education programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Bourbonnais conferred 366 master's degrees and 70 bachelor's degrees in Education programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Data shows the school gave out 213 bachelor's degrees in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse, followed by 180 master's degrees in Curriculum and Instruction and 179 master's degrees in Reading Teacher Education.

The university enrolled 4,907 students for 2016-17, including 3,358 in undergraduate programs and 1,549 in graduate programs.
