Illinois residents paid $9,840 to attend the two-year public institution this year $548 more than the $9,292 charged for 2016-17.
Non-residents paid 117.7 percent more than residents this year, or $21,420. Their price tag grew 8 percent from $19,830 in 2016-17.
About 98 percent of the school's undergraduate population are Illinois residents. And about 2 percent are residents of other states.
Data shows 72 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 149 students received grants or scholarships totaling $666,123 and 34 students took out student loans totaling more than $125,498.
Including all undergraduates, 1,739 students used grants or scholarships totaling $7.71 million. Another 504 took out $2.37 million in federal student loans.
