Bourbonnais Elementary School District No. 53 issued the following announcement on Aug. 13.
This year we will be hosting our open houses during the first week of school, taking place on August 20th and 21st. We have staggered the start times to accommodate those with students in multiple buildings.
The schedule will be as follows:
| Monday, August 20th | Tuesday, August 21st |
| Shabbona Elementary will begin at 5:30pm. | Noel LeVasseur Elementary will begin at 5:30pm. |
| Liberty Intermediate will begin at 6:30pm. | Shepard Elementary will begin at 5:30pm. |
| BUGC will begin at 6:30pm. |
