Kankakee Community College issued the following announcement on Aug. 28.
The Salvation Army is collecting gently used and new coats during September.
A barrel will be placed near the first floor receptionist desk on the Riverfront Campus from Sept. 4-30. Coats which are donated will be given to those in need in October.
