Kankakee Community College issued the following announcement on Dec. 11.
On Thursday, Dec. 6, Phi Theta Kappa’s Alpha Delta Eta chapter Honors in Action co-chairs Sarah Doris and Brittany LaFond presented an informational forum on homelessness in our community.
Guest speaker Dawn Broers, Ph.D., LCSW, executive director and founder of Fortitude Community Outreach, shared information about her organization and accepted a donation of $330 raised by KCC’s Phi Theta Kappa chapter.
