Report: Iroquois West spent $11,019 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Iroquois West Community Unit School District 10 is down 3.1 percent from five years ago, according to a Kankakee Times analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Iroquois County school district spent $11,367 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $11,019 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 982 to 1014.

Iroquois West's spending in 2017-18 was 17.4 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
