Report: Crescent-Iroquois spent $11,390 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Crescent-Iroquois Community Unit School District 249 is up 1.9 percent from five years ago, according to a Kankakee Times analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Iroquois County school district spent $11,182 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $11,390 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 87 to 81.

Crescent-Iroquois's spending in 2017-18 was 14.6 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
