Report: St. Anne spent $10,416 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at St. Anne Community Consolidated School District 256 is up 9.5 percent from five years ago, according to a Kankakee Times analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Kankakee County school district spent $9,516 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $10,416 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 344 to 347.

St. Anne's spending in 2017-18 was 21.9 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
