Village of Grant Park Board of Trustees met March 4.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

6:30PM Meeting Called to Order/ Pledge

Roll Call was taken, all members present, except Ms. Weidl

*Motion to approve previous 2/18/19 meeting

Motion: Morse 2nd: Dickson Motion Carried 4-0-1 Morgan abstaining

Public Comments: Nancy Marcotte asked for permission on behalf of the PTO, to host the “COLOR FUN RUN” to be held 4/28/19 using the Village streets. Board voice vote, 5/0/0, permission granted.

Library Board listed, no show

*Motion to approve Bills for Payment: <3/01/19 General Fund $29,416.71, Sewer Fund $4,658.40, T.I.F. $6,000, <2/11/19 Stipend $1,275.00, Payroll <2/23/19 $14,551.33.

Motion: Dickson 2nd: Morgan Motion Carried 4-0-1 Morse abstaining

Departmental Reports:

Clerk Dillman: no report

Streets & Alleys, Veldhuizen: no report

Finance, Dickson: no report, new revenue projections have been received, and will be used for budget proposals to be presented soon.

Sewer & Garbage, Morgan: no report

Building & Grounds, Morse: reported “Cabin Fever Reliever” was a success, appx. 150 people ate, 27 gift baskets were raffled off, fine attendance for the dance. Also thanked City of Momence for use of their basket lift truck.

Ordinance & Insurance, Weidl: no report, absent

Law Enforcement, Coats: no report

Chief Frey: read a letter thanking Officer Agee for assistance to a resident in the recent bad weather.

Pres. Roth: thanked Ms. Morse, and Ms. Weidl for their work with the “Cabin Fever Reliever”

Also suggested to the Board to consider extending the $1 lease to the Library Board for the next year. Will be proposed in a future meeting.

No Executive Session held.
