Village of Bradley Village Board met May 2.

CALL TO ORDER 

The Special meeting of the Bradley Village Board was called to order on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. at the Bradley Municipal Hall. 

First order of business is to elect a Mayor Pro Tem 

A motion was made by Trustee LeBran and seconded by Trustee Westphal to elect Trustee Watson as Acting Mayor for the remaining of the term of former Mayor Adams term. (5 ayes 1 nay) Motion carried 

Trustee Redmond made a motion to be Mayor Pro Tem no second Motion Fails. Roll call: Trustee's Redmond, Watson, Barber, LeBran, Westphal and Billingsley. All Trustees were present.

AGENDA

A motion was made by Trustee Billingsley and seconded by Trustee Westphal to approve the agenda. (6 ayes O nays) Motion carried

There were none.

PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS 

Steve LaGesse wanted clarification on you are the Acting Mayor not the Mayor Pro Tem. Do we need to fill the seat of a Trustee.

REPORT OF STANDING COMMITTEES 

There is no Committee Structure at this time.

NEW BUSINESS

0-5-19-1 an Ordinance amending Chapter 2 (Administration), Article II (Board of Trustees), Division 1 (Generally), section 2-27 (Committees) of the Village Code of Bradley (1s' reading) 

A motion was made to waive the seconded reading by Trustee LeBran and seconded by Trustee Westphal (5 ayes 1 nay Trustee Redmond) Motion carried 

A motion was made to adopt 0-5-19-1 by Trustee LeBran and seconded by Trustee Westphal (6 ayes 0 nays) Motion carried

Acting Mayor Watson is nominating Finance Director Rob Romo to the KRMA Executive Board 

A motion was made by Trustee Redmond and seconded by Trustee Barber to accept the nomination. (6 ayes O nays) Motion carried

Acting Mayor Watson is nominating Finance Director Rob Romo to the KCCVB Executive Committee Liaison.

Trustee Redmond excellent choice Mayor.

A motion was made by Trustee Redmond and seconded by Trustee Barber to accept the nomination. (6 ayes O nays) Motion carried

ADJOURNMENT 

A motion was made by Trustee Westphal and seconded by Trustee Billingsley to adjourn the meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 5:10 p.m. on a unanimous aye vote.
