Kankakee Community College issued the following announcement on July 11.
The KCC Foundation and Food for Thought Food Pantry are teaming up to pack 250 KCC backpacks full of goodies to hand out to fall students.
Please consider donating! Conveniently located drop boxes are throughout the Riverfront Campus (Foundation office, Food Pantry, Room L355, Welcome Center and Atrium).
Types of items being collected:
Paper products
Writing instruments
Accessories
Food
Personal care items
Gift Cards
For a detailed list of items, see the backpack flier. Collection will continue until Aug. 19.
