Discuss Budget Contingency

Last month it was noticed that there was more than 5% in Road Budget Contingency. The Local Government office that made this limit is no longer in existence and has been gone for several year. Our lawyer was contacted by Supervisor Swanson and he checked and was not able to find anywhere that there is any law requiring us to have the 5% limit anymore, but next year we will make the Road Budget Contingency 5%.

Discuss Paper Shredding and Craig’s Lists Transactions

Supervisor Swanson contacted the County and they said they were interested in Paper shredding, but not this year, there will be further discussion on this. Toirma hasn’t returned Supervisor Swanson’s phone about the Craig’s list transactions, letting people use the township parking lot instead of their home. There may also be a need to put surveillance cameras up for this. There will be more discussion on this at the next meeting.

Old Business - None
