Trustee Dole called the meeting to order at 7:00 a.m.

A motion was made by Mayor Nugent, seconded by Trustee Gesky, to approve the minutes of the November 13, 2019 as presented; motion carried by voice vote. All ayes, no nays.

Public Participation: None Items for Discussion:

• LPR Cameras – The demo of a company’s LPR cameras is on-going. They are working on a package to see if our current system will work with their cameras. A second company that has a solar powered and cellular use system. They lease these systems for $2000 per year. The systems could be moved. The demo on this system will be in the next few weeks. The City of Kankakee and the Village of Bradley have contacted the village to see what type of system we are using.

• F-150 Update – The new trucks have been received and have been stripped. Federal Signal has the trucks scheduled for end of December for installation of equipment. The trucks are roomy, and equipment will fit in very easy. A single cage will be placed in the back to allow for more storage. There will be six (6) cameras in each vehicle.

• Car Burglaries Update – The village has not been hit in the last week, but the group is still hitting other municipalities up north. There has been armed robberies and car jackings. Orland Park and Frankfort have each arrested two individuals. Another subject was involved in a car crash.

• Monthly Stats - Chief Swinford presented the monthly stats for November 2019. Chief Swinford stated that there have been four payroll check forgeries in Manteno along with many others throughout the area in the last month. Det. Reynolds attended a meeting with the Postal Inspector discussing the problem. The village was one of the victims. Ms. Hurley stated that the payroll check was for $87.40 but was taken and changed to $4,000.40.

A motion by Trustee Dole and seconded by Mayor Nugent, to adjourn the meeting at 7:14 a.m. Voice vote – all ayes.
