Village of Bradley Police & Fire Commission met Feb. 6.

Here is the minutes provided by the commission:

Chairman Hernandez called the regular meeting of the Bradley Police & Fire Commission to order on Monday February 6, 2012 at 6:00 p.m.

Roll call was taken, present were Chairman Hernandez, Secretary Arrington & Commissioner Gonczy. Also in attendance were Chief Coy, Chief Baird and Teresa Richert.

REVIEW/APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

A motion to accept the January 3, 2012 regular meeting minutes as printed was made by Commissioner Gonczy and seconded by Chairman Hernandez. Roll call vote was taken

(3 Ayes 0 Nays) Motion carried

CORRSPONDENCE/COMMUNICATION:

1. Chief Coy submitted probationary reports for 3 Officers and stated that one officer was released from the shadow phase of training. All documents were reviewed by the Board and will be filed respectively.

APPROVAL OF BILLS: None

PUBLIC COMMENT: None

UNFINISHED BUSINESS:

1. Chief Coy Sergeants testing to be March 10, 2012. Twenty three (23) candidates are eligible and thirteen (13) signed up, ten (10) said no.

2. Chief Coy will confirm that money is in the new budget for testing.

3. Chief Baird Cadet program. Chief submitted a draft of the proposed language for our Rules & Regulations.

NEW BUSINESS:

1. Chief Baird Fire Fighter test date to be October 6, 2012 this will also be the test for Police Patrolman.

2. Chief Baird Joint Labor Management meeting will attend on February 17, 2012. 

Patrolman & Fire list expires December 3, 2012

Lieutenant list expires November 13, 2012.

Chief Coy to setup Lieutenant testing to be done by I/O Solutions.

We will not need Teresa @ the March meeting.

A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Commissioner Gonczy and seconded by Secretary Arrington. Roll call vote was taken (3 Ayes 0 Nays) Motion carried at 6:45 p.m. to adjourn the Regular session.
