17 Kankakee County residents 80 or older test positive for COVID-19 on May 10

17 Kankakee County residents 80 years of age and older tested positive for COVID-19 on May 10, according to numbers being reported by the Illinois Department of Public Health.

In total, there have been 72 positive cases reported in Kankakee County among residents 80 and older, accounting for 13.3 percent of all cases in the county. Through May 10, Kankakee County has reported a total of 540 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, 30 of which have ended with the victim's death.
