119 Kankakee County residents in their fifties test positive for COVID-19

As of May 21, there have been 119 Kankakee County residents in their fifties who have tested positive for COVID-19, according to numbers being reported to the Illinois Department of Public Health.

There have been 1,015 residents in their fifties in the county who had been tested, meaning that 11 percent of those tested have the coronavirus. Through May 21, there have been 709 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 40 deaths from the coronavirus in Kankakee County.
