20 Iroquois County residents in their fifties test positive for COVID-19

As of June 15, there have been 20 Iroquois County residents in their fifties who have tested positive for COVID-19, according to numbers being reported to the Illinois Department of Public Health.

There have been 297 residents in their fifties in the county who had been tested, meaning that six percent of those tested have the coronavirus. Through June 15, there have been 138 confirmed COVID-19 cases and five deaths from the coronavirus in Iroquois County.

Illinois gathers all of its COVID-19 data from across the state electronically. The reported cases and deaths will fluctuate as additional info is gathered. Chicago was home to one of the first known cases of COVID-19 in the US, as well as it's transmission.
