One Kankakee County resident in his or her twenties tested positive for COVID-19 on July 27, according to numbers being reported by the Illinois Department of Public Health.

In total, there have been 299 positive cases reported in Kankakee County among residents in their twenties, accounting for 18.6 percent of all cases in the county. Through July 27, Kankakee County has reported a total of 1,606 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, 66 of which have ended with the victim's death.
