Cost of college went up for all students at Olivet Nazarene University

Tuition and fees rose 3.2 percent for 2018-19 at Olivet Nazarene University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Illinois students paid $36,070 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,130 more than the $34,940 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 750 students received grants or scholarships totaling $19 million and 578 students took out student loans totaling more than $3.9 million.

Including all undergraduates (4,655), 3,201 students used grants or scholarships totaling $71.6 million, and 2,444 students took out $17.2 million in federal student loans.
