As of September 3, there have been 330 Kankakee County residents in their fifties who have tested positive for COVID-19, according to numbers being reported to the Illinois Department of Public Health.

There have been 6,452 residents in their fifties in the county who had been tested, meaning that five percent of those tested have the coronavirus. Through September 3, there have been 2,290 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 71 deaths from the coronavirus in Kankakee County.
