Woodland FPD responds to three fires in 2018

Woodland Fire Protection District responded to four calls in 2018 - 75 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Woodland included three fires - two structure fires and one vehicle fire.

In all, the department saw $96,000 in fire loss - or about $32,000 per fire.

The department also received one false call.

The Woodland Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $31,579 in 2018.
